Temporary Suspension of Shipments to the U.S.

Due to new U.S. government regulations:
■ Starting August 29, all incoming packages to the U.S. will be subject to customs duties.
■ Because procedures are not yet in place, we must temporarily suspend shipments to the U.S. from August 27.
■ Resumption of service may take some time.

Canada Delivery Pause Due to Postal Strike

Due to a full strike by the Canadian postal workers’ union starting on September 25, we will temporarily suspend all international shipments from Japan to Canada.
For orders destined for Canada, we will contact you to cancel the order.
We will inform you once shipping to Canada resumes.

Shipping terms

Our orders handling time is between 1 to 3 business days.

We used fast  Air Shipping as main shipping method. Delivery can take from 5 to 14 from the shipping date days to most countries.  

All orders include tracking number. You can check your order location on Japan Post in English (www.post.japanpost.jp/index_en.html) website or using a third party tracking website such as 17track.net 

For most countries EMS express shipping is available at an additional cost, please us for more details.

Unfortunately due to customs restrictions we cannot ship to the United States.

Please consider that customs inspections and local post delivery speed may impact the process as well. 

Duties and Taxes

  • When a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination.
  • Such charges are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.
  • Yamitsuki Gourmet does not have any responsibility on these additional charges that may apply.
  • The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products and to verify that your products can clear customs. By placing an international order, the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions.

Return Shipping Policy

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer, the following policies will apply:

  1. Re-shipping Fee: Customers may choose to have the order re-shipped to the correct address. In this case, the order will be subject to a re-shipping fee, which covers the cost of sending the package again.

  2. Order Cancellation & Fees: If the customer chooses to cancel the order instead of re-shipping, the order will be subject to the following fees:

    • Return Shipping Fee: The cost of returning the package to our facility.
    • Handling Fee: A processing fee for handling the return and cancellation.

These fees will be deducted from the total refund amount. If there are shipping fees from the original order they are non-refundable.
